We are looking for a Sr Global Sourcing Specialist to join their team. They are expanding to LATAM and they need someone locally based, influenced by Western or American culture, and have established local market relationships and deep sourcing expertise. Advanced English is a must. Check it out!
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a supply specialist.
- Robust resilience under high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Familiar with terms related to packaging, air and ocean freight, customs, trucking, as well as warehouse and fulfillment operations.
- Ideally, experience using Macs, Salesforce, Slack, and Project Management Platforms.
Responsibilities
- Leverage your own established network of vendor partners to engage with grace and authenticity, catering to the luxury, fashion and retail industry.
- You will be responsible for sourcing a variety of products.
- Fulfill requests for quotes/bids (RFQs) by uniting with their global team and vendor partners to bring forward the best prices, always within a 48-hour window.
- Rise to the highest vision of quality, and when there are bumps in the road, come together with our factory partners to fix and move forward.
- Ensure factory and product quality
- Report to the US office in real time
