They originally started in New York City, but now are supporting dozens of schools across the United States, they re-imagined the classroom setting and have developed an algorithm that plans lessons, to allow teachers to personalize lesson plans to students on a daily and weekly basis.
We are recruiting a QA Engineer to join their international team. Backed by the Gates Foundation and others, you will help redefine how education can be facilitated using modern technology and hands-on teaching. Check it out!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 3+ years of experience in developing automated tests for APIs
- Strong Python or similar scripting skills
- Experience in delivering test automation at the business logic and integration level Experience with reviewing code and GraphQL
- Solid understanding of QA methodology, testing techniques, and approaches, for both automated and manual testing
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with the PostgreSQL dialect
- Proficiency with Git based version control, PR standards, and best practices in maintaining quality code for automation scripts
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Robot
- Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter
- Experience reporting QA test plans, coverage, and results tracking
- Advanced English

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automation test scripts, focusing on backend testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks.
- Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Analyze and report an automation test results
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to overall test strategy
- Continuously improve automation test practices and processes
