We are looking for a Data Engineer to join their team. You'll be responsible for managing data processing, creating tools to serve data, and ensuring high data quality standards across the board. You will play a crucial role in the development, deployment, and performance reporting of data science models. Check it out!

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • BS or background in Computer Science.
  • Expertise in SQL and managing ETL processes.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with data processing technologies (Athena, AWS Batch, Databricks).
  • Strong experience working with AWS environments (RDS, S3, Athena).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with version control (Git, Mercurial, SVN).
  • Intermediate English

Extra

  • AWS certifications
  • Experience with machine learning or data science processes.
  • Knowledge of Docker and microservice architectures.

Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement data lakes, ETL processes, and batch data processing pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data ingestion teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Define best practices for data management and storage.
  • Create reusable tools like APIs and connectors to facilitate data usage.
  • Translate requests into replicable analytics reports using various tools and platforms.
  • Report to the US office in real time
