Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in transformers, reactors, electrical panels, and more. With a robust commitment to quality and innovation, they have been providing solutions to the electrical sector since 1962.  

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team. This professional will play a critical role in managing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and driving the company’s growth in the Midwestern and Eastern regions of the United States. Check it out!

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales roles within the electrical sector, with a preference for expertise in transformers or related components.
  • Proven experience working with utilities, including IoUs, public utilities, and rural/municipal utilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields) or Business Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills within the energy sector.
  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time to meet clients.
  • Familiarity with market analysis, competitive trends, and forecasting strategies.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage the existing client portfolio to maintain and strengthen relationships.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including managing representatives, distributors, and end customers.
  • Create and execute a sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Conduct market analysis, monitor competitive trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance the company’s presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and customer satisfaction.
  • Use Salesforce to maintain accurate and updated client records and sales activity reports.
