Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales roles within the electrical sector, with a preference for expertise in transformers or related components.
- Proven experience working with utilities, including IoUs, public utilities, and rural/municipal utilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields) or Business Administration.
- Strong knowledge of CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and networking skills within the energy sector.
- Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time to meet clients.
- Familiarity with market analysis, competitive trends, and forecasting strategies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the existing client portfolio to maintain and strengthen relationships.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including managing representatives, distributors, and end customers.
- Create and execute a sales strategy to achieve company revenue goals.
- Conduct market analysis, monitor competitive trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
- Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance the company’s presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and customer satisfaction.
- Use Salesforce to maintain accurate and updated client records and sales activity reports.
