We are looking for a Lead Payroll to join their team. You will be responsible for leading payroll operations for Canada and LATAM, ensuring timely auditing and successful processing of Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Monthly payrolls. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Payroll Operations with In-House payroll processing
- 1 to 3 years of experience leading payroll teams or projects
- Strong customer orientation and ability to influence at all levels
- High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and problem-solving expertise
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
- Must maintain current knowledge of applicable wage and hour laws (Canada & LATAM)
- Advanced French and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- LATAM or International payroll experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct verification and reconciliation tasks in line with departmental checks and balances, investigating audit discrepancies.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries, requests, and concerns, including employee timekeeping and compensation.
- Maintain employee compensation records, payroll reports, files, and confidential personnel data.
- Compile, review, reconcile, and document transactions for payroll adjustments.
- Communicate with personnel at all levels to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate processing.
- Perform routine and complex reconciliation support tasks, including posting/data entry, data calculations, accuracy verification, audits, and reviewing third-party vendor source documents.

- Shift & Hours: 8-5 with 1 hour break (40 hours/week)
- Hybrid from Montreal (2 days at office)
