Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development and sales in the chemistry industry in Mexico.
  • Must have experience with polyurethanes
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization, particularly mid- and senior level executives.
  • Experience in establishing business/marketing plans, budgets and forecasts for the region and delivering the agreed strategic objectives. 
  • Strong written and verbal skills, ability to adapt communication to different target audiences.
  • Demonstrates strong awareness of business and organization sensitivity and adapts communication accordingly.
  • Strong influencing and problem solving skills
  • Advanced English
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Office (i.e. excel, PowerPoint, word, etc.)
  • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, 50%-75% travel

Responsibilities

  • Develop an effective action plan in conjunction with headquarters and regional strategies.
  • Create and lead business/marketing plan, budgets and forecast for the region which delivers the agreed strategic objectives.
  • Construct and achieve aggressive sales goals in conjunction with the business strategies and marketing plans.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Recommend selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
