# Senior Backend Developer, Python and Flask

## About the role

A law firm in Brasília is hiring a Senior Backend Developer for its internal technology team. Python first, with Flask as a hard requirement.

You maintain and extend the systems the firm runs on, working close to the people who use them every day. The stack is deliberate rather than fashionable: Python and Flask, chosen years ago and still doing the job. Your work is measured by whether the lawyers and staff can do theirs. It is a stable team in a stable operation. If you want to rotate through a new framework every quarter, this is the wrong role. If you want to own a system properly and see it used, it is a good one.

## What we are looking for

- Senior backend experience with Python as your main language
- Flask in production, not only in side projects
- Relational databases and API design
- Availability to work on site in Brasília
